We’re a small group of “elephant warriors” who got together ten years ago to found EleFence International. Our trustees, staff, and volunteers come from all walks of life, with unique and special talents. [see our bio’s] One thing we all have in common is commitment. [see our Mission Statement]
In only one decade, EleFence has teamed with our partners in Zambia on elephant conservation projects: South Luangwa Conservation Society; Chipembele Wildlife Education Center; and Conservation Lower Zambezi. To see how our small group made a huge difference, please check out EleFence Accomplishments. To read details, visit our Partnership Pages.
How fast could the elephant disappear from Africa? In December 2009, Sierra Leone lost their very last elephant to poachers. Senegal is now down to only two. Chad, which had over 40,000 elephants twenty years ago, now has only 400. Why didn’t someone champion them? EleFence however will never compromise on its commitment to champion the elephant. But time is running out!
Together let’s end the ivory trade forever. We need your support. Be that someone. Join us!
