Today, there’s another plundering in Africa of something more precious than pharaoh’s gold: The Awesome Elephant. Once again, IVORY is a huge illegal business fueled by greed. It’s estimated that over 30,000 elephants are slaughtered every year for ivory. It’s also estimated that less than 450,000 elephants are left on the continent. Do the math.
